(Since 2010) Lisa Baiton oversees CPPIB’s public affairs programs globally. CPPIB is one of the largest retirement funds in the world with AUM of $409.6 billion, projected assets of $3 trillion by 2050, offices in HQ/Toronto, Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, Mumbai, NYC, Sao Paulo, Sydney, San Francisco, and investments in 55 countries.
She has 30 years experience in progressively senior executive leadership roles in the public and private sectors. Prior to CPPIB, she was Vice President & Practice Lead, Government Relations for Environics Communications (based in Toronto), a North American public affairs firm where she provided executive-level counsel to large corporate clients. She also worked for one of Canada's largest industry association, the Canadian Bankers Association (Toronto), and for senior Cabinet Ministers and a Premier within three Canadian governments (Saskatchewan, Federal, Ontario).
